About Brasch and Bold, Original Rock

After performing as a singer-songwriter for a few years, John added a band for the energy his music needed. He called on long time friend and bassist Wally Nowacki, who became the first member of “Bold”. Wally started on guitar in his teens before switching to bass. He lived for a time in New Orleans and Chicago, and brought those influences to bands such as Johnny Butane and the Rhythm Flames(Blues), Living Proof(Classic Rock), and The Kramm(Alternative). Although drummers have changed, Wally remains a member of Bold.
The original music of Brasch and Bold blends a wide range of styles and moods to captivate listeners in any setting. They have played bars, clubs, restaurants, town fairs, coffee houses, and other events. Today, Brasch and Bold performs as the "acoustic" or "electric" version, depending on the venue.

Acoustic Rock Without the Headache

Brasch and Bold is an acoustic power trio capable of rocking the house while still allowing the audience to talk to each other. An electronic drum set allows the band to adjust sound levels to any size venue. The acoustic music of Brasch and Bold stays with the listener-"It’s all about the song".

Brasch and Bold is now also available in full electric strength. For larger venues and gigs- "Fortune Favors the Bold-the Brasch and Bold".
